Live in Harmony

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Romans 12:16

You may be wondering why we are addressing the subject of special needs kids on this blog. I have firsthand experience in such matters and know how lost parents can feel who encounter this in one of their children. Since this a subject near and dear to my heart, I felt I needed to cover such a topic. I have dedicated Wednesdays to the subject of special needs. Perhaps you don’t have a child who faces such struggles, but know someone who does. Please pass on this message that I hope to reach out and help carry the load they bear.

Many couples considering adoption have come to this juncture traveling the difficult and frustrating road of infertility. I too, have traversed this rocky path to parenthood, and fully understand the depth of feeling and pain that is your constant companion. There are many positive things that can be gained by taking such a journey, but often we don’t see them until many years later. It is my hope that I can help ease your struggle by pointing those hidden blessings out for you.

Take a deep breath as you venture out on the way before you. You have a friend by your side.

A diamond in the rough,

Welcome to my blog. The topic that will be discussed on Mondays is adoption. I will discuss all the vantage points concerning the subject. I will approach the issue from an adoptive parent’s viewpoint.

It is important to discuss the subject from all angles as it will give  readers and those seriously considering adoption, a better understanding of what the woman on the other side, may be feeling and thinking. I look forward to writing to you.
