Homeschool Doesn’t Need to be Boring

Creative Homeschooling

Okay, you’ve got your textbooks, workbooks and school supplies. Now, you need to sit down and make your children plod through them.

Whoa! Hold on.

One of the biggest mistakes beginner homeschoolers do, is to try to put school in the home. This approach usually leads to great frustration. Relax. Learning should be fun. Use your curriculum as a springboard, but be creative in how those subjects can be taught.

While textbooks and workbooks are part of schooling, there is no rule that says learning can only be done with paper and pencil. The world is now your classroom.

I am writing a series of blogs, of things I used, to put the fun back into learning. So stay tuned.

Until next time,

Nancy
