Every Believer is Adopted
Often when considering adoption, unless you are someone who has experienced adoption somehow in your family, it feels a bit strange and perhaps unnatural. But if you have committed your life to Jesus Christ you need to realize that you are an adopted child. You are far more acquainted with adoption than you realized.
Galatians 4:4-7 says this:
“But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
And because you are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! (Daddy) Father!”
“Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.”
You may be saying to yourself, “but I’m not a Christian.” You can become a child of God, if you want to. He is begging you to come home. It’s just a prayer away.
