Foreign Spelling In The English Language

The English language has adopted many words from other languages. That can be frustrating when trying to spell words correctly. I hope this article is helpful to you.


In a recent post I discussed the letter c and the sounds it represents in English words. I said that the English letter c “does not have a sound of its own.”
