Many of us will be interviewed on blogs, television, radio, or for some type of media at some point in our careers. This article provides some helpful insight on how to hand that experience.
Focus on the questions for the interview. When I work with other authors, there are a few tips I offer.
1. Don’t use yes-or-no questions. Once asked, you mumble the single word and the question is over.
2. Ask open-ended questions. Especially ask the kind that will enable you to tell a brief story. (By brief, I mean about 30 seconds on a story.) Learn more.
